Q: I had an argument with my wife while texting and gave her one talaaq, we are together again, this is really bothering me and I wanted to know if we make Nikaah again, will it be three left and more importantly are we allowed to make this nikaah?
A: If you had given one revocable talaaq via a text message, then the talaaq is valid. You only have two talaaqs remaining. Since you have taken your wife back in your nikaah before the iddat period ended, a new nikaah will not have to be performed.
