Strange Urine Incontinence: Am I Considered a Ma’zoor and Can I Pray at the Mosque?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am suffering from urine incontinence, but my problem is very strange. Whenever after washing my private part, a drop of urine comes out after washing it, rest of the time urine drops comes but randomly.

1. My question is if I keep washing private part, a single drop of urine will keep coming right afterwards, am I considered a ma’zoor?

2. My second question is what if I got 10 minutes in between (washing private part and till the drop of urine comes out), do I have to read my Salaah at home or musjid?

Bismillaah

A:

1. If your wudhu breaks so often that from the beginning of a salaah time until the end you are unable to perform wudhu and read salaah without your wudhu breaking then you will be regarded as a ma`zoor. The law of a ma`zoor is that as long as one continues suffering with that problem then one wudhu at the beginning of the salaah time will suffice for the entire salaah time irrespective of how many times that specific breaker of wudhu occurs.

2. I suggest that you do your istinjaa at the musjid toilet.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
