Reciting Qur’an at zawaal time

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I was reading the Quran at zawaal time about half an hour before Zohar time. Someone told me to stop praying because we are not allowed to pray at that time, is this correct? I thought just sajda was forbidden. Are we allowed to read Quran before sunrise?

Bismillaah

A: There is nothing wrong in reciting the Qur’aan at that time.

Yes.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
