Validity of Azaan Before Salaah Time: Shar’ee Ruling

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If one calls out the Azaan before the Salaah time enters, what is the Shar’ee ruling? Will the Azaan be valid or will it have to be repeated?

Bismillaah

A: If Azaan is called before the Salaah time enters, the Azaan will not be valid. After the time enters, the Azaan will have to be repeated.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
