Deciding on Ehaan: Meaning and Origin of this Baby Boy Name

Q: I want to keep my baby boy’s name as Ehaan. Is it a Muslim name? What is the meaning of it and should I keep this name for my baby?

Bismillaah

A: The meaning of Ehan (إيهان) means to weaken something.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
