Q: Alhamdulillah Allah Ta’ala gives me toufeeq to pray 5 times a day. To please him is always my first concern. This is mentioned in the Quraan that bad men are for bad women and good men are for good women. No doubt the Qur’an is true. There are many couples where the lady is pious but the husband is characterless and vice versa. Please explain to me in detail.
A: Generally bad men are more inclined towards bad women. There may be an exception where one spouse had felt the other to be good and under the assumption that he is good there was a commitment of nikaah and thereafter it was realised that the spouse is not a good person. So this does not go against the aayat of the Qur’aan.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
