Wudu breaking due to wearing singlet

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwa.org.au
If I have wudu and I’m wearing a singlet top around the house and only my husband and children see, is my wudu broken because of not having my awrah covered?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

No, your wudu will not break due to wearing such a top.

However, one should dress modestly in the presence of one’s children, as it will have an effect on them.

And Allah knows best.
