Sajdah tilawah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwa.org.au
Does sajda tilawah become compulsory when the whole verse is recited or when just a specific word is recited?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Sajda tilawah becomes compulsory when a person recites the complete verse of sajda. Even if just one word of the verse of sajda is not recited, sajda tilawah will not become compulsory. If the next verse is also related to the verse of sajda then sajda tilawah will only become compulsory if the person recites both the verses completely.
