Masnoon qira’ah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwa.org.au
Under normal conditions, is it Sunnah to recite the following Surahs in the Obligatory Prayers as stated:

For Fajr and Zuhr: Al-Hujrat to Al-Burooj
For Asr and Isha: At-Taariq to Al-Bayyinah
For Maghrib: Al-Zilzal to An-Naas

Most of the Imams don’t follow this order of Surahs while leading the Prayers.

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Yes, when a person is not on a journey it is Sunnah to recite the Surahs that you mentioned in the prayers that you stated. This is for both the imam and one offering his salat individually.
