Question:

Can you please enlighten me on the following Masaail:

1) What is a Wahabi?

2) if after the soul has entered the foetus and the mother is told that there is danger to her life or that the child id disabled or handicap then will she be allowed to have an abortion?

3) Is a woman allowed to clip her nails whilst she is menstruating?

4) Is there any such thing as you shouldn’t cut your nails at night and that men should not wear the colour black in the month of Muharram.

5) What is a Barelwi?

Answer:

1- 5. These two parties are from Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah. Some of their beliefs and

actions are incorrect. We don’t totally agree with them.

2. It is not permissible to have an abortion once the soul has entered the foetus.

3. Yes.

4. It is permissible to cut ones nails at night if there is enough light and no risk of cutting ones

finger. The Shias dress in black during the month of Muharram, therefore we, the Sunni

Muslims, should not wear black in this month distinguishing ourselves from them.
