Some questions on allegations by the Shias and Barelwis

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Mahmoodiyah

Question:

Due to recent sectarian violence in Pakistan, some lying jealous opportunist literate idiots Barelvi Hanafi and Shias have mass published and emailed false allegations against our Elders of Deoband. I know your busy but please do refute this as much as you can:

 ________________________________________________________________

Sipah e Sahab (better known as Sipah e Yazeed) and Lashkar e Jhangavi are two Deobandis (Wahabi) terrorist groups who have been killing Shia and Sunni
Muslims in Pakistan as they find their beliefs to be ‘un-Islamic’. Here are a
few basic beliefs of these terrorists. Now you decide if the Deobandi
beliefs of these filthy offsprings of Hinda have anything to do with Islam.

1. The Kalima (shahada) of Sipah e Sahaba and Lashkar e Jhangavi

“It is satisfying to say “Laa’Illaaha il-lal Laahu Ashraf Ali
Rasool-ul-Laah” and “Al-Laahumma Salli ‘Ala Saiyyidina Nabiyina Ashraf Ali”
and there is no harm in saying so.”

Deobandi Reference:
Risaalah Al lmdad, page 35) for the month of S. afar 1336 A.H.; and
proceedings of a Munuazirah (religious debate) in Gaya, Al Furqaan, volume
3, page 85.

Deobandis believe that Ashraf Ali Thanvi was a prophet after Isla m’s Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh&hp). Some members of the cult refrain from openly calling
Thanvi a prophet but believe that he holds a stature equal to Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh&hp)

The Deobandi belief regarding Thanavi’s prophethood and their attempts to
hide their belief becomes more clear after reading the following:

“To the common people, the expression “Khaatim-un-Nabiy-yeen” means the
“last Prophet”. To the knowing people this is not a correct view. Even if a
Prophet was to be born after the holy Prophet (saww) it would still have no
effect on the concept of the finality of Muhammad (saww)”

Deobandi Reference:
Tahzeerun-Naas, Pages 3 and 25

Now when Deobandis believe Thanvi to be their prophet, it does not effect
the Islamic belief that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp) is the last prophet of
God. As far as the Shias and Sunnis are concerned, they simply can not
understand the depths of the Deobandi faith, are declared infidels and
killing them becomes a duty of every Deobandi!!!

4. Allah’s knowledge according to Sipah e Sahaba and Lashkar e Jhangavi

“Allah does not know beforehand what His creations would do. Allah comes to
know of their doings only after they have done something.”

Deobandi Reference:
Tafseer Bulghatul Hairaan pages 157 and 158

“The Prophet of Allah was not aware of his ultimate fate and of things
beyond a wall.”

Deobandi Reference:
Barraheen-e-Qaati ‘ah, page 51

15. Prophets can not be free and innocent of every lie

“It is not necessary for a Prophet to be free from, and innocent of, every
lie.”

Deobandi Reference:
Tasfiyatul ‘Aqaa’id, page 25

But nothing but truth comes out of the mouths of the Deobandi sons of Hinda,
especially their prophet Ashraf Ali Thanvi, Sipah e Sahaba and Lashkar e
Jhangavi

17. A Prophet of Allah can be referred to as Satan

“It is permitted to call a Prophet as a Taaghoot (Satan)”

Deobandi Reference:
Tafseer Bulghatul Hairaan, page 431

But it is kufr (infidelity) to belittle the father of all Wahabis, Yazeed ,
who even wished to marry Hadhrat Ayesha (RA), wife of Prophet Muhammad
(pbuh)

20. Deeds of a follower excel those of the Prophet

“A follower apparently excels his Prophet in deeds.”

Deobandi Reference:
Tahzeerun-Naas, page 5

No wonder Sipah e Sahaba and Lashkar e Jhangavi recite “Laa’Illaaha il-lal
Laahu Ashraf Ali Rasool Allah”

21. A Deobandi mullah saved Prophet Muhammad from falling into hell

“A Deobandi Mullah saved the holy Prophet (saww) from falling off
Pul-e-Siraat (the bridge over which the righteous will pass into Paradise
and the evil will fall into hell).”

Deobandi Reference:
Bulghatul Hairaan, page 8

22. Celebrating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is like celebrating the
birthday of a Hindu God.

“Celebrating Meelaad-un-Nabee, (saww) (birthday of the Prophet) is like the
Hindus celebrating the birthday of their Kanaihya.”

Deobandi References:
Fataawa Meelaad Shareef, page 8;
and Baraaheen-e-Qaati ‘ah, page 148

But it is true Islaam to c elebrate days of the Deobandi sons of Hinda
and their Daarul Uloom.

23. Dajjal has the same characteristics as Prophet Muhammad

“The holy Prophet (saww) and the Dajjaal both are blessed with life. The
traits which characterise the holy Prophet (saww) are shared by the. Dajjaal
also.”

Deobandi Reference:
Aabe Hayat, page l 69

24. Wishes of Prophet Muhammad have no importance

“The Holy Prophet’s (saww) wish for something to happen is of no
importance.”

Deobandi Reference:
Aabe Hayat, page 169

But much happens at the wishes of the Deobandi sons of Hinda.

It might be that the Quran given to Deobandis by their prophet Mullah Ashraf
Ali Thanvi does not have the following verses;

“They shall have no authority to intercede except for those who have made a
covenant with Allah the Beneficent.” Qur?an 19:87

“Ye who believe! Fear God and seek WASILA (the means of approach) unto him.”
(Al-Quran. 5- 35)

27. The Deobandi hatred for Durood Taaj

“Durood Taaj is disfavored and. reciting it is not permitted.”

Deobandi References:
Fazaa’il-i-Durood Shareef, page. 73 and
Tazkiratur Rasheed vol. 2, page 117

But to compose and recite. elegies (marsiyah) on the mullahs of Deoband
crediting them with much more excellences than those described in the Durood
Taaj for the Messenger of Allah (pbuh&hp) is quite right.

28. A Deobandi mullah was given a bath by Imam Ali (AS)

“A saintly person of the Deobandi faction had been given a bath by Hazrat
Ali (RA) and Hazrat Fatimah (RA) had put on clothes on his (naked) body.”

Deobandi Reference:
Siraat-i-Mustaqeem, Persian, page 164; Urdu, page 280

This coming from the people who believe that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp) is
mingled with dust and that whosoever is named Ali has no authority. I guess
if something adds to the stature of Deobandis, it automa tically becomes
permissible and as far as others are concerned, the others can not
understand the deep MANTAQ of Daral Uloom Deoband.

30. Deobandis believe that Quran has been changed

Deobandi mullah Syed Anwar Shah Kashmiri states in his book Fayz ul Bari
that:

“It is my analysis based on Sahih al Bukhari that the Qur’an has tahreef with
regards to words and this was accredited to Hadhrath Uthman’s party as an
unintentional or intentional mistake.”

Deobandi Reference:
“Fayz ul Bari” page 395 Volume 3 under the Chapter “As Shahadhat

No wonder the Sipah e Sahaba and the Lashkar e Jhangavi believe in a
different prophet i.e. Mullah Ashraf Ali Thanvi as well as all the above
mentioned beliefs.

One thing which is quite interesting is that Shias are accused of having a
different Quran or changing the Quran which allows the Deobandis/Wahabis to
kill as many Shias as they like. Books of Shias and Sunnis do have some weak
narrations that suggest the Quran is incomplete but no Muslims (Shia or
Sunni) believes in the validity of such narrations. Next time you hear a
Wahabi dog barking, accusing Shias or Sunnis of Tehreef e Quran, do mention
Mullah Kashmiri’s Fatwa to enlighten him.

Answer:

Those arguments which you have presented form the perspective of Shias are in reality the arguments used by the Barelwees.  These arguments were previously presented by the Barelwees.  They were answered by means of writing as well as verbally in full detail to such an extent that they are now embarrassed to repeat it again.  It should be understand that the Deobandi Ulamaa are absolved of all the statements which are conflict with the beliefs of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah.  For further details or more reference on this subject consider reading the books by Moulana Sarfaraaz Ahmed Khan (RA) as well as Ikhtilaaf-e-Ummat aur Siraat Mustaqeem by Moulana Yusuf Ludhyaanwi.

We request that you send these objections to Sipahe Sahaba because only they will be able to tell you as these are their beliefs or not. We do not have any dealings with this organization.

Nevertheless it is in our knowledge that in Pakistan the Shias propagate false beliefs.  They insult the Sahaba (RA), accuse Hazrat Aisha (RA) of adultery, they regard the Qur’an to be incomplete, in the name of Mut’ah they permit Fornication/adultery, they establish gatherings for mourning causing harm to Muslims physically and monetarily, tried to influence the general Muslims etc.  In order to refute them an organization was establish by the name of Sipahe Sahaba.  This organization made an effort answering them verbally as well by writing.

They warned the Muslims of false beliefs of the Shias, explained the difference between the Shias and Sunni.  The good effects became apparent to every sensible person due to which the sinister movements of Shias were harmed.  In order to defend themselves the Shias lifted weapons against Sipahe Sahaba and began killing them.

Due to Shias being minority in Pakistan, they could not oppose the effective effort of Sipahe Sahaba single handed.  Further, the beliefs of Sipahe Sahaba are generally in correspondence with the research of the Deobandi Ulamaa.  In order to attain the assistance of the Muslim public and the Barelwees they chose the following method.

The seniors of the Barelwees had sometime or the other, accused the Ulamaa-e-Deoband of Kufr.  They did not only stop at this they issued a fatwa of Kufr upon them by adding & subtracting from the writing of the senior Deoband Ulamaa, or by quoting out of text or explaining incorrectly.

The Ulama-e-Deoband gave an adequate response to these allegations clear as crystal which silenced the Barelwees.

Once again the Shias have lifted the old weapon against Deobandi Muslims in a different disguise i.e. by using English as their medium on internet.  The purpose behind is to acquire the assistance of the Barelwees and Sunni Muslims.  The beliefs of Sunni and Shias have a substantial difference. These two groups will never be united.

When Shias object to the Sipahe Sahabah they should make these accusations:

·                    Sipahe Sahabahs love all the Sahabahs and consider them as Jannatis.

Whereas Shias believe only on four Sahabahs and all the others are, (Allah forbid) Murtad (renegades from Islam).

·                    Sipahe Sahaba gives preference to four Khalifahs and accept

Hazrat Ali as the 4th Khalifah.

Shias belief Hazrat Ali to be the 1st Khalifah and the other 3 (Allah forbid) are Ghaasib (Usurpers.)

·                    Sipahe Sahaba regards Hazrat Aisha (RA) as chaste and pure.

According to Shias Hazrat Aisha (RA) is unchaste and     close to Qiyaamah (Allah forbid) hidden Imam Mahdi will take her out of the grave for punishment.

·                    Sipahe Sahabah believes that Nabi (S.A.W.) had 4 daughters.

Shias only believe in 1 daughter.

·                    Sipahe Sahaba regards Mut’ah as Haraam.

Shias to make Mut’ah meaning to have intercourse with   any woman for a few days with the condition of            stipulating the price is permissible and expect reward.  By making Mut’ah it is possible to reach the status of    Ali (RA) (Allah forbid).

·                    Sipahe Sahaba regards the Qur’an which was revealed to Nabi (Saw) as complete & in its true form.

According to Shias the Qur’an is incomplete.  The complete Qur’an is in the cave with imam.  Before Qiyaamah when he will make his appearance he will present to the people and obligations will be carried out from that Qur’an.

As if from the time of demise of Nabi (saw) until Qiyaamah the Ummat will remain without the Qur’an and no obligations of Islam will be carried out.

They were supposed to make this type of allegations upon the Sipahe Sahaba, but if they followed this method they could not have the protection of Barelwee Muslims.  Therefore they hid their false beliefs and placing a rifle on the shoulders of the Barelwees they fired a rusted bullet at the Sipahe Sahabah.

You should ask them the following questions:

Ø                  Why do they say in their Kalimah and Azaan {Ash Hadu anna Aliyyan Waliyyullah wa Khilaafatun bila fasl} and persist upon this?

Ø                  Why do some people give Hazrat Ali (RA) the status of a Nabi & a Piety (Ilaah)?

Ø                  Why do they regard the Qur’an as incomplete and changed?

Ø                  Why do they give the Imams the ranks of “Ma’soom” & “Shaari’ ” like the Nabi?  Is this not in contradiction with Khatme Nubuwwat?

Ø                  Why do they say Allah can make mistakes? (Allah forbid)

Ø                  Why do they say Jibreel (as) made a mistake of delivering Wahi?  He was commanded to give it to Hazrat Ali.

Ø                  After the death of 11th Imam and waiting for the appearance of the 12th imam.  During this period who should the people follow & from whom they will get guidance?

Ø                  Hazrat Mu’awiyah, Abu Sufyaan and Hinda, are they Sahabahs or not?

And Allah Ta’ala knows best
