What is the Islamic ruling for such a person whose mobile phone rings while in Salaat with Jamaat?
Can he switch it off in such a way which will not invalidate his Salaat or should he terminate his Salaat and switch the mobile phone off and then start his Salaat anew?

Answer:
It is necessary for those performing Salaah to switch off their cell phones before commencing with Salaah. If someone does not switch off his phone and it rings while he is in Salaah, then he can off it in such a manner that does not invalidate the Salaah.
