Q1-Is it Sunnah to use the Mimbar for delivering Jumu’ah Khutbah and sermons and what is the reference from Hadith?
Answer:
It is Sunnah to deliver the Jumu’ah Khutbah from the Mimbar. It is also permissible to use the Mimbar for other sermons. (Ahsanul Fataawaa, Vol. 4, Page 135, Fataawaa Darul Uloom Mudallal Mukammal, Vol. 5, Page 126, Mishkaat, Page 123, Hadith 1322-1327 and Page 312, Hadith 3416)
