Q2-Some people say that when azan is going on the dead souls get up in the graves and the waves in the sea calm down is this true and what is the reference?

Answer:

We are unable to find any reference pertaining to what you heard with regards to the Azaan from any authentic books of Ahaadith.  We hereby kindly request that you refer to the source from which you heard for further clarification.  Nevertheless, when the Azaan is being called one should give undivided attention whilst replying to its words.  (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 1, Page 294, Bahrur Raaiq, Vol. 1, Page 258)
