Is it permissible for a woman to pluck her eyebrows?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by IslamicPortal.co.uk

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

It is not permissible for a married or unmarried woman to pluck her eyebrows.

The famous companion ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) relates, “Allah has cursed those women who practice tattooing or seek to be tattooed, and those who remove hair from their faces, and those who artificially create spaces between their teeth for beautification, such ladies change Allah’s creation. Why then shall I not curse those whom Allah’s Messenger ﷺ has cursed and who are cursed in Allah’s book too? (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, 5943)
