Is there a narration which says cupping on an empty stomach is best?
Answer
Yes. Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahullah) and other Muhaddithun have recorded a weak Hadith which states, ‘Cupping on an empty stomach is the most beneficial.’
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 3487-3488. Refer: Zawaid Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1156)
These words have also been reported in other corroborating Hadiths.
(Refer: Al Mudawi, Hadith: 1597)
This is suitable (rather recommended) for practice.
