I want to conquer the shay tan (demon) in me and convert it into a Muslim. Is this possible?

This was only possible for Rasulullah (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam). It is considered to be one of his specialties that he was able to convert his Shaytan into a Muslim. (Sahih Muslim, hadith: 7039, 7041; Sharhuz-Zurqani ‘alal-Mawahib, vol.7 pg.260-261).
For those besides Rasulullah (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam), this remains a test till the day we die; that we should be able to resist his temptations all the time.
