Is there any virtue in reciting the ‘manzil’?

What is the virtue of reciting the ‘manzil’ and reading it before sleeping?

Answer

It is mentioned in Hadith that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) recited certain Verses of the Quran to cure a Bedouin who was affected by Jinn. These Verses are contained in the manzil.  See the full narration here.

Reciting the Manzil has also been proven through experience to be very effective for protection from Jinn, black magic etc.

I have not come across any other specific reward/virtue of reciting these Verses collectively or specifically reciting it before sleeping. The Hadith is general and therefore you could recite the manzil at any time.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
