I wanted to know the status of the following Hadith:
“Each person will be resurrected upon the last action that he died upon.”
Answer
Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith. The Hadith is therefore authentic.
Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says, “I heard Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say, ‘Every person would be resurrected in [the state] he passed away’”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2878)
