What is the authenticity of this Hadith?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“He who offers Salah before the rising of the sun and before its setting, [i.e. Fajr and ‘Asr], would not enter Jahannam.”
Answer
Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Umarah ibn Ruwaybah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The Hadith is therefore authentic.
