In one Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Don’t declare your wealth as there are many envious people”
What is the status of this Hadith?
Answer
I have not come across these words in a Hadith.
This is possibly based on the following Hadiths:
1) Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Take help in fulfilling your needs by concealing them. For indeed every favoured person is envied”

2) There will [always] be those who are jealous of those who have been blessed, so beware of them.
(Al-Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 7277; Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 8 pg. 195. See here)
