What is the authenticity of this Hadith?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Pass your hand over the head of an orphan on the day of ‘Aashura, it will be as though you have done good to the orphans of the entire Ummah.”
Answer
The Muhaddithun have declared this Hadith a fabrication. The Hadith is therefore not suitable to quote.
