The benefit of offering wudu and salah correctly

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

Is this Hadith reliable?

من توضأ كما أُمر وصلّى كما أُمر غُفر له ما تقدّم من ذنبه

Answer

This Hadith is reported by several Sahabah (radiyallahu’anhum) and is recorded in many Hadith sources, with slightly varied wording.

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared it authentic (sahih).

Translation

‘One who offers wudu like he is commanded to, and reads Salah like he is commanded will have his past (minor) sins forgiven.’
