A man will not enter Jannah if his neighbour is not secure from his evil

Can this narration be quoted?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “The faith of a servant is not upright until his heart is upright, and his heart is not upright until his tongue is upright. A man will not enter Jannah if his neighbour is not secure from his evil.”

Answer

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 3 pg. 198)

The Hadith is suitable to quote and is corroborated.

(Refer: Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 353 and pg. 527, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol.  pg. 1 pg. 53 and pg. 57)

The last part of the Hadith is also recorded in Sahih Muslim. See here.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
