Kindly translate the following Hadith and provide the reference:

Answer

Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration in their Sahih. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 6069 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2990)

Translation

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is reported to have said

All the people of my Ummah will be pardoned for their sins except the ‘mujahirin’. And (mujahirin are those) that commit a sin during the night and tell the people in the morning that he has done such and such, whereas Allah has concealed it. He spends the night in the condition that his Rabb has concealed him, but he awakens exposing the concealment of Allah

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best
