Deeds which draw the curse of Allah Ta’ala

Could you mention a few examples of deeds which deserve the curse of Allah Ta’ala and Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)?

There are many narrations which discuss deeds that draw the curse of Allah Ta’ala or Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Below are a few of these deeds:

  1. All those involved in producing and consuming alcohol. (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1295)
  2. Those who consume and deal with interest [riba]. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1597 and Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1206. Also see Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2238)
  3.  Those who indulge in bribery. (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1336)
  4. Men who imitate women and those women who emulate men. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5885)
  5. Those who harm a believer or plot to do so. (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith, 1941)
  6. One that tattoos and the one being tattooed. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2238)
  7. Those who make images (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 2238)
  8. Those who steal. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 6783 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1687)
  9. Those who curse their parents. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1978)
  10. Those who harm animals and brand them on the face. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5515, Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1958, 2117)
