Another Hadith on the importance of the two Sunnah rak’ahs of Fajr

What is the status of these Hadiths regarding the two Sunnah of Fajr?

1) Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) relates that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “The two [Sunnah] cycles [rak’ahs] of Fajr are better than the world and what it contains”

2) Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,  “There is nothing more beloved to me than the two rak’ahs [Sunnah] of Fajr”

 

Answer

1) Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith in his Sahih. The Hadith is therefore authentic.
