The reward for defending a Muslim’s honour in his absence

Kindly confirm me is this Hadith correct.

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
‎⠀
“Whoever defends the honour of his brother in his absence, then it is (his) right from Allah that he be freed from Jahannam.”

Answer

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyidah Asma bint Yazid (radiyallahu ‘anha).

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 6 pg. 461)

‘Allamahs Mundhiri and Haythami (rahimahumallah) have declared the chain sound (hasan).

(Targhib, vol. 3 pg. 516-517, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 8 pg. 95)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
