The discussion between Adam and Musa (‘alayhimas salam)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: Adam and Musa (alayhimas salam) argued. Musa (‘alayhis salam) said to Adam (‘alayhis salam), ‘You are our father, you put us at a loss and you expelled us from Jannah? Adam (‘alayhis salam) said to him:, ‘You are Musa, Allah selected you and wrote for you. Despite this you blame me for an act which Allah had ordained for me forty years before He created me. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, This is how Adam came the better of Musa (‘alayhimas salam).
