A Hadith stating that the actions of an innovator are not accepted

Is this Hadith authentic?

“Allah Ta’ala does not accept the fast, the Salah, the charity, the Hajj and ‘Umrah, the Jihad and the tawbah of the one who indulges in bid’ah [innovation]. He comes out of Islam just as a strand of hair comes out from dough.”

Answer

Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration with a chain that consists of a narrator who has been accused of fabricating Hadith.

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 50. Refer: Mizanul I’tidal, vol. 4 pg. 52/53)

In another suitable Hadith, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Allah Ta’ala does not accept the repentance of every innovator until he leaves out his innovation.’
