The most beloved servant of Allah according to a Sahabi (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

I received the following is it correct?

(Ibn Abid Dunya)

Answer

Yes, Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) has recorded this as the statement of a Sahabi.

(Al Awliya, Hadith: 36)

The narration is suitable to quote as reported.

Translation

Hasan (rahimahullah) reports, A Sahabi said, “I take an oath in that being in whose control is my life that the most beloved servants of Allah are those who make Allah beloved to his servants and traverse the earth offering advice and counsel”

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
