The du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) for those who shave their head

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

Can you provide the reference for the narration wherein Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) made du’a thrice for those who shaved their head and once for those who trim their hair when coming out of ihram?

Answer

Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded a narration in his Sahih which states that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) made du’a [O Allah! Have mercy] thrice for those who shaved their heads and once for those who trimmed their hair.

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1303. Also see Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1727 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1301)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
