Twenty rak’ahs Tarawih during the time of ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

Are there any sound/authentic narrations which confirm that even during the Caliphate of Sayyiduna ‘Uthman (radiyallahu ‘anhu) the number of rak’ahs in Tarawih were twenty?

Answer

‘Allamah ‘Ayni (rahimahullah) has stated that Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) has recorded the following authentic narration:

Sayyiduna Saib ibn Yazid (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says:

“The Sahabah had performed twenty rak’ahs during the reign of Sayyiduna ‘Umar, Sayyiduna ‘Uthman and Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhum)”

(‘Umdatul Qari, under Hadith: 731, vol. 4 pg. 372)
