Another Hadith on salutations being conveyed to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Is the following Hadith authentic?

“Allah Ta’ala has appointed an Angel at my graveside. Whenever anyone sends salutations (durud) to me until Qiyamah, this Angels conveys the salutation to me with his name and father’s name, saying, ‘So and so, the son of so and so has sent salutations upon you’” (Targhib)

Answer

Imam Bazzar (rahimahullah) has recorded the Hadith you are referring to on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Ammar ibn Yasir with a weak chain.

(Musnad Bazzar, Hadith: 1425. Refer: Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 499/500, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 162. Also see Al Qawlul Badi’, pg. 251)

However. This Hadith is sufficiently corroborated and is suitable to quote. See here for similar supporting narrations.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
