A virtue of Sayyiduna Zayd ibn Harithah (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

Kindly confirm if the following narration is authentic?

‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) said:

“Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) never sent Zayd ibn Harithah on a campaign but he appointed him as it’s commander, and if he [Zayd radiyallahu ‘anhu] had lived after him he would have appointed him as his vicegerent”
