“Work for your life down here as if you’ll live forever, and work for the next life as if you will die tomorrow”

This is recorded by Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu’anhuma) with a weak chain.

Commentary
This Hadith is encouraging one to work tirelessly for the hereafter, and effortlessly for worldly gain.
