A Hadith on musical instruments

Please provide a reference for the following narration regarding music,

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“My Rabb has commanded me to destroy all musical instruments…”

Answer

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith in his Musnad with a weak chain.

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 257. Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 5 pg. 69)
