The Hadith mentions three knots that get untied when a person wakes with Allahs name, then makes wudu and performs salah. Does this refer to Tahajjud salah only, or Fajr also?
Answer
The Hadith you are querying is in Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1142
The commentators of Hadith have explained that these knots are tied for one who sleeps without offering his ‘Isha salah, or one who does offer his ‘Isha salah, but fails to wake up for Tahajjud Salah.
When either of these two types of individuals wake up to offer the mentioned salah, the knots are untied.
