The virtue of learning a few verses of the Holy Quran

Please mention the full narration which says that learning two verses of the Holy Quran is better than two camels and learning three verses is better than three camels.

Answer

You are probably referring to the following Hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (radiyallahu ‘anhu):

“Once Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) came out and said, Which of you would like to go out every morning to Buthan or ‘Aqiq and bring two large humped camels without committing any sin or without severing family ties? We said, ‘O Rasulullah! We would love that.’ Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: Then why don’t you go to the Masjid every morning and learn or teach two verses from the Book of Allah which is better than two camels and three verses are better than three camels and four verses are better than four camels…”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 803)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
