Salaatul Janaazah after the Farz and Sunnah Salaah.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Question:

The custom over here is that Salaatul Janaazah is normally read at the door of the Masjid. Some people are of the opinion that if it is read at the time of Zuhr, Asr or any such time of Salaat where there is Nafl and Sunnat after the Farz, then Janaazah must be read immediately after the Farz, then the Sunnat and Nafl can be read. Some are of the opinion that the Salaatul Janaazah should be read after the Sunnat and Nafl is performed. Which is the correct method?

Answer:

The correct method is that Salaatul Janaazah should be performed after the Farz and Sunnat Salaat but before the Nafl Salaat.
