Fatwa – Bribing for Drivers Licence and Learners

Q: I would like to know when going for learners & licence (for driving) can you bribe?

A:

Giving and accepting of bribes are both impermissible and there are severe warnings that have been given for those who engage in such a sin. However, if one is being deprived unjustly of one’s right, and one gives a bribe to acquire one’s right, then one would not be sinful Inshallah.
