Does wudhu break if a spot bursts

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

Does the wudhu break if a spot bursts

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Answer

In the aforementioned scenario when the spot burst without you causing it then the wudhu will not break.

The ruling in the Hanafi Fiqh is that if the blood or puss flowed then the wudhu will be broken.  With regards to your question, as the puss did not flow rather it burst without you causing it, your wudhu will still be intact, hence there is no need to repeat the tarawih or witr prayer.  (Ahsanul Fatawa p.29 v.2 & Kitabul Fiqh p.129 v.1)
