Question:

Can I listen to Quran audio from phone while I am in menstruation?

Can I turn it on by myself?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

According to the Ḥanafī madhhab, a menstruating woman may not recite the Qur’ān (al-Hidāyah, 1/33). However, there is nothing wrong with turning on and listening to Qur’ān audio. In fact, listening to the Qur’ān and contemplating its meanings would be considered desirable and rewarding.
