Question:

During pregnancy which surah is good for pregnant women to recite for protection of the child?

Is there any hadith regarding it?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

I am not aware of any prescribed adhkar or recitation of Suras for a pregnant woman that has been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

However, a pregnant woman can make dua to Allah to make her pregnancy easy and the delivery of the child without any complications. She can recite any Surah she likes and increases in her recitation of the Qur’an and this will inshallah, be a healing for her and mercy her unborn child.

Allah says in the Qur’an:

“And we send down of the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers” (Surah Isra: 82)

Only Allah Knows Best
