Praying where there could possibly be impurity

Question:

I have a disabled younger brother. I have been looking after him since he was a little; He is quite grown up now. I wanted to ask you that I change his diapers (almost 3-4 times a day). Sometimes the urine unknowingly comes out and sometimes little on me too but all unknowingly.

In case I see something impure I take a bath. But if unknowingly there’s some impurity of my brother and pray namaaz will I be forgiven? Will my prayers be accepted?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

If impurity does get on to one’s body or clothes, then before performing salaat, it will be compulsory to wash off the impurity if the combined size of the impurity is more than a Dirham (approximately 2.75 cm in diameter). If its size is equal to a Dirham or less, it will be mustahab (desirable) to wash it off, not compulsory.[1]

If a person only came to know to the impurity after salaat, they should repeat that salaat.

Only Allah Ta’ala knows best.
