Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Is it true that when a Muslim divorces his wife with triple talaq, he cannot remarry her unless she marries and divorces another man? Do Muslims still support this?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

Yes, a woman that is divorced by way of triple divorce must marry another man and only after getting divorced from that man or the death of that man will allow her to marry the first husband, with the condition that the second marriage was consummated.
