What is harmful and useful as per the health or season you should learn it by any Doctor or Hakim. Or evaluate yourself and avoid the things which harm you. As far as the matter of halal and haram is concerned, until it is not known about any drink or food that it contains any haram ingredient (pig fat or wine etc) then it cannot be termed haram i.e. it shall be lawful to eat and drink it as everything is lawful in itself (until it is not declared haram). Yes, if there is no definite knowledge about anything whether it contains haram ingredient or not but it is said by people on unauthentic basis or there is doubt whatsoever the reason may be then it is better to avoid eating it.
The same ruling is about meat as well that if it is known definitely that it was slaughtered on Shariah method only then it is allowed to eat it otherwise it is not lawful. Also it is better to avoid eating when there is some doubt.
