Is it acceptable to keep the name “Zahra Fatimah” instead of “Fatimah Zahra”?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
We have decided to keep her name Zahra Fatimah (I hope the spellings are correct). Is it fine if we keep Zahra Fatimah instead of Fatimah Zahra? As the last name is more frequently used and called more everywhere. Can you please reply as soon as possible as we have to correct her name in passport also?

Answer

(Fatwa: 595/595/M=1434)

It is good if you give the name of Fatimah Zahra to your daughter. But, there is no harm in keeping her name as Zahra Fatimah as well. It is also correct. The spelling is correct.
