What are the important aspects of salat (prayer) that I should focus on?

I would like to know what should we think during salah. Please also refer me an English book which has all the sunnah of the holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Answer

(Fatwa: 512/319/L=1434)

(1) While offering salah we bring the magnificence and glory of Allah in our heart in a way that we are seeing Allah. If it is not possible then at least we should think that Allah is seeing us.

(2) You should see the book: Uswa-e-Rasool Akram (The Life and Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by Dr Muhammad Abdul Hai, Pakistan. (Internet Dept.)
