Can widow remarry her husband’s family after his death, if he didn’t give talaq?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If husband expired before giving talaq, till what time she should not remarry other person? After death of husband, can his wife remarry from her husband’s family for example son of her husband’s sister?

Answer

(Fatwa: 375/375/M=1434)

If the wife is pregnant at the time of her husband’s death then she cannot marry until she gives birth to the child. But if she is not pregnant then her death iddah shall be four months and ten days. After this she can marry any other man. After the death of husband when iddah is over, the widow can marry with the bhanja of her husband.
